Email Readiness

Know it's ready before you hit send.

Honest scoring

A high score can still mean not ready.

A small set of QA findings — a missing unsubscribe link, a broken image source, Gmail's clipping limit — are treated as blocking. Any one of them forces a "not ready" status regardless of score, so a 95/100 email with a missing unsubscribe link still reads as not ready.

Readiness is advisory— it never blocks Save, Send, or Export. It's there to tell you what's wrong before a subscriber does, not to get in your way.

The Compatibility check is a score, not a picture — for the actual rendered output, run the same email through the free HTML email preview to see it in Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail and dark mode side by side.

The Spam Check runs real SpamAssassin against the 5.0 threshold, with a full per-rule breakdown — see how it works and which rules matter on the email spam checker page.

Accessibility is the one check that's free with no signup at all — 43 axe-core rules plus 6 email-specific checks. See the full rule list on the email accessibility checker page.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

A 0–100 score shown in the Email Builder that aggregates five checks — Compatibility, Accessibility, Spam, QA, and a manual Final Verification — into one “is this ready to send?” number. It's advisory: nothing about it blocks Save, Send, or Export.

The Accessibility check and Final Verification are free with no signup. Compatibility, Spam, and QA are free with a free account — creating one unlocks the full score.

No — it's a strong signal, not a guarantee. Deliverability also depends on your sending domain, list quality, and ESP reputation, which are outside what a pre-send check can see.

Yes, deliberately. A handful of QA findings — a missing unsubscribe link, a broken image source, Gmail's clipping limit — are treated as blocking and force a “not ready” status regardless of score. A 95/100 email with a missing unsubscribe link is still not ready.
